ok-here is the plan:

3/1 Tues lab time: those needing to take test #3 will do so during lab…rest of you will do the urinary lab. Everyone will get the final before lab starts. Everyone needs to complete the course eval in the computer lab tonight.

class time:  we will go over all of the homework we need to and I will go through the grade book with each individual so you know if you are missing anything and where you stand right now. Each person will get back test 3 and corrections will be due thurs 3/3.

We are on schedule for the rest of the term, with the exception of not doing the reproductive lab, and will follow the syllabus, not adding another day.

I will work with each person individually to make sure you can get what you need to accommodate your schedules and we will make this work

To all of my 242 students in Winter Quarter:

Please be advised that I am VERY aware that there is a group of you who are cheating. Not only have you been observed by me on several occasions and your actions have been noted in my grade book, you also have been observed and reported on by several of your peers. Not only do I know who each of  you are and have proof, your peers know who you are, have proof and have reported your misconduct not only to me, but to authorities in the main office. This is your opportunity to:  a) cease and desist your dishonest actions immediately b) make an appointment to have a one-on-one conversation with me before I report your name and my evidence to my director, and c) hand over the materials you have used and made copies of. The consequences for NOT doing these three things will be a) You will not receive a grade for your lab notebook as it is copied. b) you will not be allowed to take exam 3 or do test corrections  c) nor will you be allowed to take exam 4, do the test corrections or take the final. In essence, you will not get a grade for Biol 242 and will be reported for Academic Honors Violations.  I am NOT bluffing and are you really willing to sacrifice your future career over this? Do not, for one moment, think that I will not pursue this, and just as I have written some of you recommendations, I can make one phone call, and will, to undo that recommendation and undo any acceptances you have received. My reputation stands much stronger than yours does.

Each person has been assigned a group and a certain amount of objectives to write out and answer to prepare for exam #4. These are due 12/7 when you walk in the door! Group assignments are at the bottom of this list.

Each person will do the following objectives:

Ch 23 #1, 2, 8, 29, 30

Ch 24 # 1, 2

Ch 25 1, 2, 3

People assigned to group 1 will also do these 8 additional objectives:
