Learn How to Use Open Educational Resources this April

This 2 week online course is free to Washington State Community & Technical College instructors, and offers an opportunity to learn from and connect with your colleagues across the state.

We’ve posted about this course before, and several Pierce instructors have participated in previous sections.

  • Dates:  April 14, 2014  –  April 25, 2014
  • Instructor:  Boyoung Chae, eLearning & Open Education Program Administrator at SBCTC
  • Course Description:  The purpose of this course is to provide information and experience in using open educational resources (OER) in your teaching practice. We will discuss the concept of OER and open licenses. We will also provide plenty of practice in locating and sharing open educational resources. This is a 2-week online, asynchronous course and participants are expected to spend 10 hours to complete the course.
