Employee Learning and Development Day at Pierce College is set for Saturday, June 3, 2017 with the theme “A Culturally Responsive Community of Learners.”
For Classified and Admin Exempt Employees:
All workshops and sessions take place at the Fort Steilacoom campus. A variety of learning and training opportunities are starting at 8:30 AM and ending at 4:00PM.
Coffee, tea and other refreshments are available all day – Lunch will be part of a working session and will be served from Noon to 1PM in the Student Activity Center -Performance Lounge, Cascade 421.
For Adjunct Faculty :
You have the opportunity to participate in faculty professional development activities that will run from 8:30am – 1:00pm at the FS campus.
From 8:30 – 10:30: we will have an opportunity to learn how to use Tableau data and dig into questions about student learning. This will be a highly interactive session and is targeted for beginner and seasoned Tableau users.
10:45 – Noon: Choose from the many workshops being offered for exempt and classified employees. The theme for the workshops is “A Culturally Responsive Community of Learners”. See the link for the agenda above.
Noon – 1PM: Join your faculty and employee colleagues for a working lunch in the Student Activity Center -Performance Lounge, Cascade 421
Adjunct faculty will receive a $100 stipend for your participation from 8:30-1:00. If you want to join in on the afternoon sessions, please do. However, those sessions will not be associated with a stipend.
