Licensed Veterinary Technician

Priceless Pet Clinic is looking for a full-time licensed veterinary technician who is a team player and can bring enthusiasm to our fast paced work environment. Successful candidate will have:

  • 2+ years experience preferred. Current WA veterinary technician license
  • Fun, easy going personality with the ability to easily converse with our clients
  • Excellent skills in handling/restraining, blood draws, urine collection, catheter placement, surgical prep of patients, anesthetic monitoring and recovery, performing dentals, taking radiographs, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency, experience with Mac’s is a plus since the practice management software is Mac based
  • Proven ability to work as a team player in order to maximize the effectiveness of the team
  • Strong multitasking skills and the initiative to get tasks completed
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work long hours as needed
  • Relaying patient inquiries between clients and the veterinarian (includes answering phone calls), client interaction during appointments (taking brief history, obtaining patient vitals and weight), and a clear understanding and ability to effectively communicate patient home care and follow-up instructions

Busy 5-doctor small animal practice located in Walla Walla, WA is seeking an energetic part-time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT).  Potential for additional hours as needed.  We have a loyal clientele and a friendly team of employees dedicated to a high standard of care and compassion.  Candidates must be detail-oriented, thorough, work well with others, and have the ability to maintain professionalism in high-stress situations. Part time/Relief Technician wanted.  Potential for fulltime at a future date

Animal Surgical Clinic of Seattle is seeking a self-directed and compassionate team player to join us as a part-time Licensed Veterinary Technician. Candidates must be currently licensed in Washington, licensed in another state and eligible in Washington, or prepared to pass the VTNE at the next testing date.

Established in 1985, ASCS is a highly-respected surgical referral practice. We are dedicated to excellence in service – to referring vets, our clients, our patients and each other.  This value is demonstrated through respect, positive attitude, teamwork, integrity, compassion, business awareness, and of course, excellence in patient care.  Our caseload consists of a wide variety of small animal orthopedic and soft tissue procedures, including laser surgery, endoscopy, arthroscopy, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, joint replacement and trauma surgery.  We also operate a veterinary rehabilitation center, and collaborate closely with the doctors and staff of Animal Medical Center of Seattle (ER, critical care, internal medicine and oncology), who share our building.

Our technicians are utilized to the highest level of their ability. Major job duties include induction and maintenance of anesthesia, surgical setup, sterile scrub-in, pain management, radiology, placement of bandages/splints, pre- and post-surgical nursing, and client education.  All staff members work together on hospital cleanliness. We strive to provide a fun, challenging and positive work environment.

This position will cover our later shift, 9-6 or 10am-7pm. There may be a possibility for earlier hours in the future.

ASCS is a smoke-free facility.

Licensed Veterinary Technician (aka Superstar)

Tired of the private practice day-to-day?  Looking for a change of scenery in a fast paced, fun environment with a friendly team making a BIG difference in the lives of animals?  The Auburn Valley Humane Society is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Lead LVT to join our medical team!  LVT duties include high volume surgical assistance, comprehensive dentistry, radiographs (dental and full-body), administering and monitoring anesthesia, animal welfare rounds, volunteer and veterinary assistant training, animal intake exams, and assistance with animal behavior evaluation, modification and adoption counseling.  AVHS is a fast-paced, fun, cooperative environment focused on sound and compassionate medical care. 

AVHS opened 4 short years ago and assist over 2200 animals annually maintaining 98% live release rate.  We are a private 501(c)3 non-profit, limited admission animal shelter located in Auburn, WA and provide community programs including S/N assistance, education & outreach, senior food bank, pets of domestic violence and much more.   AVHS enriches the lives of companion animals and people through animal sheltering, programs, services and community engagement

Applicants must have a valid Washington State Veterinary Technician License and experience in sheltering is preferred.  They should also have intermediate writing, math and computer skills, demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, tact and sound judgment and a valid WA state driver’s license with current automobile insurance.
