Clover Park Veterinary Hospital is looking for a licensed Veterinary Technician.  We are a two doctor small animal practice in Lakewood Washington that is looking for a motivated, likes to have fun at work veterinary technician.  Experience is great but will be able to train a new graduate as well.

Responsibilities include:

venipuncture, i.v. catheter placement, surgery prep and cleaning instruments,anesthesia monitoring, intubation, dental prophy, radiology, cleaning and compassionate patient care.

We are a full service veterinary hospital that treats all animals with the exception of domestic dogs, cats, horses and cows. There is always something new to learn and experience to gain! We are seeking a team member with excellent verbal, organizational, mathematical and interpersonal skills. The ability to multi-task is crucial; our hospital can be very fast-paced. We typically have a fully booked schedule and we treat emergencies at any point throughout the day. You should enjoy working with people as much as you enjoy working with animals. Duties associated with this position include:

  • Anesthesia induction and monitoring for all species.
  • Knowledge and communication of care and husbandry for several species
  • Knowledge and application of sterile technique.
  • Obtaining and processing various laboratory samples (in and out).
