Day Five of Winter Break
The sun is shining and campuses are quiet.
Have a great weekend!
The Urvasi Dancing Company from Olympia visited the Puyallup campus on Dec. 1 for a demonstration of Orissi dancing, a classical form of traditional Indian dance that originated in Orissa, a coastal area in eastern India.
Orissi has both rhythmic and storytelling dances that combine complex upper body and hand movements with pounding, stomping footwork.
